Jewellery Trends Every To-Be-Bride Must Know Of

Each woman dreams of her wedding day and wants it to be perfect. Whether it’s the dress or the jewellery each bride wants to look the most stunning. But in reality, it takes a lot of effort to look like an ethereal bride. It is important to keep yourself aware of the jewellery trends to ensure that you look like a million bucks on your wedding day.

The Traditional Jewellery

If you are a bride, who wants to stick to the original wedding jewellery, then opt for the traditional gold designs. Gold jewellery has the quality to take not just the brides’ lehenga but her overall look a notch up. So, ditch the kundans, ruby, and emeralds and buy graceful gold jewellery that’ll make you look like a queen.

Antique Temple Jewelry

Antique temple jewellery has been very famous amongst South Indian brides since ancient times. Temple jewellery is extremely chunky and has an antique finish. Additionally, the materials used are primarily gold with precious red and green stones embedded in it. Large motifs of goddesses complete the jewellery pieces and require a number of days of dedicated craftsmanship. A Kanjeevaran Saree is the most ideal outfit one can pair them with.

Diamonds Are Still the Bride’s Best Friends

Considered an unconventional trend, diamonds are often the choice of a modern bride. Diamonds sparkle in the light of the altar and even the sleekest jewellery pieces look glitzy. Diamond Jewellery Designs add that elite look to your persona and you can wear them not just at your wedding but reception party as well.

Double-Stranded Thick Necklaces

This trend originated in Hyderabad, where the wives of Nizams wore this heavy ornament, the only difference being they were pearls. Today you can customize them in any metal you want and choose the flavor of your reality.

Accesorising Tips For The Mother Of The Bride

A wedding, that too an Indian one, is a big day for every party involved! It doesn’t just the day of the bride and groom but also for the respective parents. The mother of the bride gets a lot of attention at the wedding ceremony; she plays the perfect host while being dressed up in her finest.

It isn’t uncommon for the mother of the bride to feel under a lot of pressure to deck to look spectacular in the crowd. Go subtle with the styling and many people might miss her. Go overboard with the styling, and the fashion police may become harsh on her. The top is to be accurate with the styling of the accessories. Every trinket, bangle and even the hairpin play critical roles in defining your vibe for the evening. From buying the right solitaire jewelry online to wearing the right number of necklaces, everything matters. Read on for the best styling tips that can come in handy in nailing the look:

1. Keep it simple with your accessories

While the thumb rule of Indian weddings states that the more the bling the better, don’t go overboard with the gold or experimenting too much with the jewelry can actually ruin your look. You can go with a classic statement jewelry piece, a necklace earring set that flatters your attire and accompanies it with a bracelet and an elaborate hairpin. Your accessories should be able to identify you as a host, a combination that is all about class and grace.

2. Uncomfortable or loud jewelry should be avoided.

Indian weddings may be all about loud celebrations but that doesn’t mean your accessories need to be. You want to wear a selection that flatters your face, your figure, and your saree for the event. Gold jewelry may be extremely popular, but it’s important to not go overboard with the jewelry, a situation easily possible with the yellow metal. You also don’t want to wear any jewelry that has you touching your ear in pain or scratching at your neck because the jewelry has you sweating profusely. Stay comfortable with the jewelry you don on the day of the ceremony because you don’t want to maintain a look of discomfort while the cameras are busy clicking photos.

3. Speak to your daughter about what to wear

Many at times, your daughter would be delighted to have her mother dress in similar tones as herself. Run it by her to ask for her suggestions and you would be surprised to see the helpful suggestions coming from her. Even when you are visiting a jewelry store to shop for the wedding, get her involved in deciding what you can wear for the wedding. For all you know, she might just be the best stylist you can have.

How To Select The Perfect Engagement Ring For Your Significant Other

With rings of every style imaginable available in stores, hunting for the perfect sparkler for your loved one can be an overwhelming task. Some stores also make possible for you to customise the ring according to your whims and fancies. While searching for that perfect engagement ring, consider what fits her lifestyle and personality best. Below, are a few engagement ring styles that will aid you in choosing the right ring:

TRADITIONAL & ELEGANT

The most sought after style for engagement rings, solitaires are rings that feature one centre diamond. A classic solitaire setting is timeless and is perfect for women who prefer more conservative yet graceful styles. The traditional solitaire features a plain metal band. In some rings the centre diamond is set especially low so as to add a hint of refinement.

STYLISH & OUTGOING

If the wearer is on the lookout for something a little bit extra, then she will appreciate a diamond jewellery design setting that holds her diamond higher. For more dazzle and glamour, she may prefer a ring with sparkling pavé set diamonds on the band. Halo setting maybe the perfect choice for your significant other as well. These rings feature a circle of diamonds around the centre diamond so as to add intense sparkle.

MODERN & CONTEMPORARY

The best jewellers in India keep a stock of the contemporary designs as well. Rings that experiment with non-traditional forms are a good fit for women who are willing to experiment. You may choose to forgo the traditional centre diamond altogether, consider a wide band ring with an eye-catching detail. A hint of sparkle can be integrated with diamond or gemstone accents.

UNSURE

If you are unsure of which ring maybe perfect for your significant other, consider selecting a diamond but proposing with a temporary engagement setting, allowing her to select the ring she loves at a later date.

With the wedding season approaching, the preparations are in full swing. Whether it is elaborate outfits for festivities or stunning jewellery to go with it, the hustle bustle is increasing every fortnight. The upcoming trends and designs have provided a playing field for jewellers to try their luck with unconventional structures and designs. After all, what catches attention is what sells.

With unique ideas flying high in the air, the gold jewellery designs have been combined with vibrant gemstones, only to make a spectacular entry into today’s market.
When shopping for the wedding season, one might need a few tips to make sure one is fully prepared for the upcoming madness!

Time Is Right

While buying jewellery, time is of utmost importance. Holidays are a great time to shop for jewellery, as jewellers often run promotions. At this time, they’re fully stocked and offer a wide range of styles than any other time of the year. While the holidays may be a good time, the slower-jewellery-buying months of January, April and July may also be a good time to shop as stores slash prices dramatically after the holiday months to clear out what’s left. So, the choice is yours, better stocks or better prices.

Research

It is very important to hit the web before buying an expensive set of jewellery. Be sure to check the buyer reviews or the seller, as well as the return policy. Apart from the net, it is also advisable to consult people who have bought jewellery from the respective stores you’re thinking of. Also, be sure to subscribe to newsletters and email lists for both online and physical stores, which circulate notice of sale dates.

Good Designs

As important as getting a good deal are the designs you shoes for jewellery. To stay on board with the current trends, it is important to do a quick survey of the market and the designs in fashion. When it comes to earrings designs in diamond, there are a lot of good options in the market one can choose from. Diamonds have a lot of potential as precious gemstones can be combined with it to come up with beautiful specimen.

Final Selection

Whether it is the engagement ring or a pair of earrings, selecting the perfect bit of sparkle to make you shine on a big day is not an easy thing. But Hazoorilal diamond Jewellers makes the entire process much easier. In addition to novel designs, it also comes up with a brand new collection every fortnight. They are masters at personalising the experience so dear to you.

Appropriate Jewellery

The person buying the jewellery isn’t always the person wearing it. Hence, it is essential that while buying for a present, one should be careful about the choice and the style of the individual. One has to keep in mind the event and the occasion and accordingly, select the best fit. A small yet graceful minimalistic solitaire may be enough for a work date, but when it comes to weddings, heavy sets will suffice.

This is the season of love and sparkle. Let us make the most of it by shopping wisely and to our heart’s content.

Best Diamond rings in Delhi

I don’t know if diamonds are really the ‘best friend’ of a woman, but gifting a diamond can surely make you her best friend! I am a witness to such an incident where my strained relation with a woman was mended significantly due to a diamond! No, in case you are thinking it’s my wife, you are wrong. It’s her mother, my mother-in-law!

A typical Indian family still finds ‘Love marriage’ a taboo. So was my case. I wanted to marry her daughter but I was not entertained right from the beginning. Initially it was both my wife’s parents but eventually my wife being the only daughter managed to convince her dad about me. But NOT her mom. I was gradually getting into the mode of a Bollywood hero to impress her mom but she seemed to remain indifferent to all my efforts. Even her husband couldn’t talk her into this marriage.

Somehow, after withstanding a lot of opposition we got married. My mother-in-law had to give in to her adamant daughter’s wish and my persistence. Unfortunately, she never accepted me as a part of her family. I can clearly recollect many incidents where she would barely speak to me. This kept my wife immensely upset as her relation with her mother was straining too. I couldn’t think of any way to put an end to this trauma. Most of our family members had also given up by that time.

It was only when my wife mentioned about her mother’s birthday did I come up with an idea. I planned a surprise birthday party for her in a plush banquet, invited her friends and all our relatives. I knew what I had to gift her. My wife suggested of Hazoorilal when I approached her with the idea of presenting her mother a diamond ring.

Diamond Rings

And thanks to her, I found it the best and the most convenient place to purchase marvelous diamond rings for women in Delhi. I pulled out the best one in the hope my ‘always unimpressed’ mother-in law would like it. She did have an amazing birthday, and probably by seeing me put in so much of effort to make her day special she became a bit soft towards me, but the moment I handed her over the ring I got her, she was speechless. That day, I can say marked the beginning of our ice breaking. Today, she is more like a friend to me, and now she regrets keeping me away from her for so long. I would always thank that beautiful piece of diamond to help begin the wonderful bond that I share with her now!
