The Varieties of Diamonds

Diamonds known and considered as one of the most precious gems in the world are surely every woman’s dream and envy. Being the most precious and beautiful gemstones, they are used extensively in carving some of the most astonishing jewelry designs and pieces across the globe, says the experts from a renowned jewellery shop in Delhi. 

Since these are nature’s gift i.e. formed and found naturally, they generally vary with the type and quantity of impurities which are present in them. Essentially there are two ways in which they are classified- first that contains nitrogen impurities and second which is abundant in other impurities except for nitrogen.

White Diamonds

These are the types which are chiefly known and perceived as diamonds amongst the masses. Harvested globally, they are naturally available in several different shapes and sizes. The ones which are harvested from Argyle mines are known to be the best varieties of white diamonds that are available. It is this range of diamonds majorly used for making and presenting exotic jewellery pieces in the customized hazoorilal diamond jewellery sets.

Pink Diamonds

These are certainly the rarest and the most exquisite type of diamonds that are available. The Argyle mine is the chief mine that produces this variety, it is known that around 95% of the pink diamonds that are available on earth are produced and harvested from Argyle mine. Because only 1% of all the diamonds found naturally have the color pink, so this type is known to be amongst the most valuable. 

Blue Diamonds

Rare and so again one of the most expensive types of diamonds that are found, these are certainly found in the best and most costly pieces of jewelry in Delhi and elsewhere. Being the scarcest types of the diamonds, it is actually difficult to find a true blue diamond, leave alone owing the jewelry carved out of it. However in recent years, techniques have been developed to produce these rare found diamonds, raising hope amongst the jeweler’s community at large.

Synthetic Diamonds

Not really the expensive ones, these are the man-made varieties of diamonds. Since diamonds still remain one of the most expensive gemstones found, it is not very practical for everyone to afford and own them. It is for this precise reason that the synthetic ones, considered a substitute to the natural diamonds are the most demanded and available forms of gemstones used intricately to carve the jewelry pieces.
